get to know the lady behind the lens

My name is Tallison Brainard, thank you for making it out to my page! I am originally from Maui, HI but moved to Wilmington, NC in 2017. I graduated from Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) and The University of North Carolina at Wilmington (UNCW), with an Associate's Degree in Art and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. I am currently in school again to complete the Dental Hygiene Program at Coastal Carolina Community College (CCCC), and aim to graduate in 2027!

I discovered my love for photography through capturing my favorite memories on the island I called home. Over time, friends and family started asking me to take photos of them for events and special occasions. It then turned into paid jobs! Through the years, I have used my creative eye to make a difference is peoples lives. I want to share the the way I see certain moments with those who are willing to look.

I would describe my style as light and warm, with an emphasis on the natural beauty that surrounds us. I am not opposed to new ideas, and I am always willing to work out of my comfort zone.
